Harris County Emergency Services District No. 48 (the “District”) is located between the cities of Houston and Katy, Texas, in what is often referred to as the “Greater Katy” area. Greater Katy is comprised of large sections of unincorporated Harris and Fort Bend Counties that are primarily situated east and southeast of the Katy city limits. The entire District service area lies within the extraterritorial jurisdictions of Houston and Katy.
